I often go to La Ferté Alais, which is France's leading warbirds show - not that that means much, if Stephen Grey decides not to fly over from the UK!
Anyway, the other year, we were treated to a 1940, Germany invades France tableau, where we saw three post-war Dassault Flamand bomber trainers in French training command colours; these were presented as He111s

. Then, later, there was a French Indochina tableau (early 1950s), where they presented a Morane 500 spotter plane. For those who don't know, that's a Fiesler Storch built in France. That might have been OK, except that this one was in full Luftwaffe Eastern Front markings...

What a joke. And the general public had to pay some $30 or so for the priviledge. All I can say is I'm glad I got in on an invite...
