| cheers chaps.....I hope to post a ton of phots of the Spitty when I get time....not sure which section to put them in. Unfortunately WW2 cockpit projects are rare and due to costs barely make it past the cockpit rig stage. Gary, Dave and I have sunk lots of money into our projects....Ross has done loads to his Anson's. I think it is fair to say that the CockpitFest event is fantastic but the jets are the most popular....not really sure why.... |

As for Flying Legends....Tony (rocketeer) and I are travelling up on friday morning and are staying for the duration. That gives us arrivals day and the sat / sun to bimble around and take some shots, have a meet with crew from ASB and also any guys from this forum. We are in accommodation that takes us right past the entrance to Debden airfield on the way to and from DX so it will go without saying that we will be dropping to pay respects at this old wartime field. I will be taking some memorabilia to raise a glass to at both airfields. I will also be starting a thread on the weekends activities when I'm back (mental note to self....try and put a limit on the amount of pics taken this year ! (just under 2500 at last years event !)...be nice to see something without looking through the camera lens
