    Warbirds in the hangar

Spent the day at Duxford, just bimbling around without a schedule and no particular rush. Being a Monday, the place was pretty much empty of people (its almost winter time and the wind was absolutely howling and it was very cold!!!) so there was none of the usual hassle of waiting for that clear shot. Normally, Duxford is normally heaving with people on the weekends, which is when I normaly get to go there.

This first set are from the Fighter Collection hangar with work progressing on the Beau, the Fury and then theres the Cobra almost packaged up and ready to go. The other 'birds where undergoing routine maintenance and it was nice to be able to see'under the hood / bonnet' at close quarters.

'Sally B' was also getting some TLC ready for next season.

I thought you guys might find them usefull for modelling purposes. I am going back again and if you are after particular shots of any of the inmates, I'll see what I can do

Great post you lucky dog you!

Hey CR, you're nine years late for the 60th anniversary of the BoB!! I'm sure you meant the 70th though, and I reckon any BoB event in the UK will be crowded to capacity. You gotta go to Duxford if/when you come to the UK though.
Great pics once again Gary, thanks.
