In the Bf109F-2 was the MG 151/20 updated from the MG 151/15?

The Mauser MG 151/20E cannon was the development of the MG 151/15 . However F-2 version wasn't armed with MG 151/20E but with MG 151/15. According to my info, although the F-4 variant basicly was equipped with the 20mm cannon , a few F-4s of the initial series was still armed with the MG 151/15.
