| 360th Coast Artillary My Dad, Merlin D Halle, was in command of an anti-aircraft battery that was attached to the 360th Coast Artillary. The battery was located mostly at the south end of Mercer Island, in Lake Washington, near Seattle, WA. Their purpose was to protect Seattle and Boeing from any perceived threat from the Japanese. They were disbanded probably in 1944. Dad is turning 90 in 3 days and is still sharp as a tack, though his body is not doing so well.
