God, let us never forget those times in human history where despots and tyrants have imposed great suffering and unimaginable heartache as they attempted to impose their will upon us. And in those times men and women stood fast and hard...sometimes against overwhelming odds and met the onslaught ...denying their fears...facing uncertainty...in the hopes that "right shall prevail". Thank you, all you boy and girls, who sat in foxholes in sub zero weather, sailed the brutal seas, soared at 20,000 feet in hostile skies risking all you had so we could be a free people. And to you brave souls who made the most honorable and supreme sacrifice and left your lives there...please accept our deepest thanks. May God hold you deeply in his heart as we should. And may we never forget....ever! This weekend, where ever you are, find a veteran..shake their hand and tell them "thank you".
