| Senior Member | Not bad. Is that first one the MG42 or the more modern MG3? Basically the same machine gun, but the MG3 is calibred to 7.62mm NATO standard, and the wooden stock has been replaced with a black plastic one. I was trying to tell by the ammo belt, but I couldn't really. |

| Senior Member | Its a MG-42, the MG-3 has a heavier bolt ans it shoot at an very slower rate. |

| Senior Member | Slower? The rate of fire is about the same between the two. Maximum rate of fire is approximately 1200rpm, but I'll take your word for it. I was just curious, is all. Thanks. |
