Yeah - he's the same with me. There was no "Great pictures of the Lancaster, pD" just a "I want more!"

Walney was good...... better than expected I have to say (apart from being a bit chilly at the onset and low cloud, but both cleared and it was a damn fine show.
Folcan display team jumping from the C1430 J Hercules, kicked it off. quite a number of the planes were there as were at Duxford the weekend previous, but a few of them flew lower, because many of them couldn't land there. the static displays were easier to access too, you could even climb aboard the Catalina, though obviously no where near as many as Duxford, but still excellent.

Hawker Hurricane, a T33 and a Hawk carried out some damn good displays. Whilst the Yaovlevs were a tad clever and very entertaining.

A few spitfires, a Hurricane and the Dakota filled the Battle of Brit spot and Sally B made an appearance too.
And it was all Free. Well done Walney and Paul Rose, next time is in two years time. In the mean time they are building a museum there ( and a good sailing area for any sailors amongst you out there)

I might have known one of the Grob pilots, I'll ask him if I get the chance
