There is going to be a nice event down in Lubbock, TX on June 5 and 6 at the Silent Wings Glider Museum. If you haven't heard of Silent Wings, it commemorates the WWII glider program and its pilots, most of which were trained in Lubbock. For more information, see:

The Texas Air Museum in Slaton is also holding an airshow, and participating in the Silent Wings Event; a link to their information is at:

The WWII Airborne Demonstration Team will be participating in both events with displays and a parachute jump.
