| Misc WWII photos One of the people I work with told me about some photos his dad took in WWII. He served on Iwo Jima, Tarawa, and Guadelcanal. Here are just a couple pics he shared with me.

| Great pics, agree on all those B29s. But I don't think they were stationed there, I think they landed there short of fuel/engine or damaged. Says a lot about how useful Iwo turned out to be. Odd thing, but it looks like it was cold there. When was your friend there? |
