The show was great, but for a day that was to be filled with thunder showers it was freaking hot. Me and my son found some shade and a cool breeze under the Ocean Club. We were a block away when the F-22 Raptor did its flyby and set off all the car alarms.

The P-51's were good but I was a little bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong it was cool but All they did was formation flying. Loved the sound of those Rolls Royce Merlin engines.

The Yak-9 was pretty cool too. Too bad the F4U only did a flyby with the F-18. I would have liked to see more of that bird.

Other then the constant smell of garbage (The smell of AC in the morning) all morning it was a great day.

Just got back! Great show and HOT! My pre-wife set up shop in the casino (we were at the Tropicana) and I wandered outside until the heat made me lose a pound or two. I don't do well in heat - ask TO or Charles! But my camera is not the type for close-ups and such so here are what pics I could salvage. Missed a few flights as I was inside in the A/C. It wasn't too bad. I spent $7 on the nickel slots and won $100! Good day for me.

The shots are a helicopter re-fuel and an AWACs. A few pics of how crowded the beaches were. And the Thunderbirds - who had 6 (SIX) machines going (inside joke ). The last is my pre-wife at the end of the day. Fantastic ending!

Thanks for sharing the pics Chris. Hope it wasn't a long walk back to your car.

It was hot, floated in my pool all afternoon with visiting family and watched the 172s fly into Monmouth Executive Airport in Wall Township.

Cool! There were F-15's, F-16's, F-22's My favorite!! Also the US army Thunderbirds finished the show!

TO are you going to the WWII thing in West Milford?

My favorite was when the A-10, F-16 and Two P-51's flew in formation!!

Probably will go B-17. Not 100% yet but hopefully there won't be any distractions (family or otherwise) to prevent me.

I haven't gone through my camera yet. Its not the right camera for an event like this but I'll check it out tomorrow. I took a lot of video of the Thunderbirds. I look forward to seeing how they came out.
