It wasn't an airshow but it was called a "fly day". Here are a few pics from the event this weekend in Addison, Texas (just north of Dallas). They were also offering rides in a Stearman for $150 or a Texas for $225. Yes, I should have, but I didn't.
We had a real nice time. They were firing blanks in the Sherman, which were louder than hell. After the show, we went to the Holocost museum in Dallas, which I have never been to. It was sobbering to say the least. My wife and I walked out and weren't really even talking. If your in Dallas any time soon, it's just around the corner for the school book depository were President Kennedy was killed.
Got to meet a couple of pilots, who were real nice guys. I thanked them both for their service and told them how much I appreciated it. I thought Col Callahan was going to cry.
