WWII Adventure, Once in a Lifetime!

Good Afternoon fellow WWII aficionado's,

I have stubled across something all of you will enjoy.

There will be a full weekend event held in Savannah Feb. 27, 28 and March 1 so you can relive the day of a B-17 Bomber!

They provide an exclusive B-17 flight simulator, guest speakers and all meals at the Mighty 8th Museum in Savannah, then topped off with a one hour ride in the Liberty Bell B-17!

Check it out:

World War II Adventure

This is a great event for vetern to show their family what they went through or for anyone who wants an experiance of a lifetime. And for $1941 you get a full weekend of fun. History will come alive! What a great gift for your grandfathers and fathers this christmas!

Wow, makes me wish I had a spare $1941 in the bank account. Well I guess I have between now and February to win the lottery.

The Collings foundation rides in the B17, B24 and B25 cost far less than that.

Very expensive, but it still sounds like a cool weekend. Plus, the Collins ride is about 30-40 minutes, at least in Dallas. This ride is an hour long.

Most of the flights around here are 30 minutes of engine run time, not necessarily wheels-up time. Figure about 10 or 15 of that is taxiing, running up the engines, etc.
