Here's my latest build hot of the workbench/dining room table.
Italeri 1/48 P-40M painted to represent A29-358 "Jen1" of S/L Stan Galton, 86 squadon RAAF, Merauke, Dutch New Guinea. The top colours are painted with Tamiya spray cans and the under side brush painted. Decals are from Tally Ho! decals. She's not 100% accurate but my pretty happy with the end result.
Excuse some of the shots, its hard to get decent photos at night.

Thanks boys!!
I love the RAAF P-40 birds, well done!
Me too. All I need is a "K" model to complete my RAAF PTO line up. Mind you I don't think I'll be stopping at four P-40's!

I love these Australian kites. Well done Andy and what a great collection.

Thanks mate. I spray the top half one colour as I'm sure you do, then I make masks for the wings out of newspaper and tape them down - making sure the edges don't sit up too high as you'll get spray under the mask. The fuselage is more painful, I use many bits of curved Tamiya tape joined together to achieve the desired pattern. It's time consuming to get the right shape but it looks good when it's all unmasked.

Thanks for the tip. I've hesitated to use masks because of the spray getting underneath, and settled for hand-painting the second color. I just did a PBY using masking tape, but the demarcation lines were all pretty much straight, so it wasn't really difficult. I'll try your method on my next camo.
