    1/48 F-14 and 1/72 Spitfire Mk.Ia

Hi guys, I wish to show you my HobbyBoss Tomcat which is a great kit by the way and the new tool Airfix Spitfire that I built as a little breather from the big Tomcat.

That spitty kit looks real nice. Well done on both.

    Thank you very much.
I really enjoyed building them, the little Spitfire is the first of that scale I've built in decades and I am pleased with how much detail there is and how well they detail.

Yeah I would agree. All I do is 1/72nd and that really does look like a nice kit.

    Thank you,
I really am very chuffed with them both, especially the Tomcat as it is quite a large imposing beast and looks real mean.

Nice work on both of them!

It's difficult to believe the spit is 1/72. Very nice work!

I like them both but am partial to the Tomcat.

Thanks, it shows how much this scale has come along in improved detail.
And due to space constraints I think that I am going to convert to doing 1/72 scale kits more.

Me too, it is so graceful yet the view from head on i.e in the bandits rear mirror it looks so aggressive.
A good site for the F-14 by the way is the F-14 association where I recommend reading the 'Hoser' chronicles.
