| God not another Lanc' lol Hi Guys, Finished this toady, well nearly finished it. I started this one before my other one which is in the 'build section' This bird is a 'one off ' because each side has different codes/serials AR * Q, W4988 and AR * ! , JB657 and is built for a friend in Canada AR * Q has hand painted nose art. The kit is as can be expected...Airfix. I've had a one problem with it the letter for JB657 AR * !is not obtainable When it's finally finished she'll be on her maiden flight to my friends house in Canada ![]() ![]() The nose art of Queenie ! ![]() W4988 AR * Q on this side. ![]() Tail shot. ![]() JB657. on this side What is the letter ???? ![]() Queenie looks a proper Queen, don't forget i hand painted these, not the yellow gas patch though. ![]() Camo looks 'bang on' also canopy is hand painted. ![]() The underside is done in Humbrol coal black H85. ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking and if anyone knows that letter please let me know

| Hi there - that's a very nice Lanc you've made there. Here's a little info on Lancaster W4988: Lancaster W4988 And here's a little on JB657: Lost Bombers - World War II Lost Bombers It seems like it's two different Lancasters who crashed at two different locations at two different dates, but I may be wrong, as I don't know much about Lancasters.
