Italeri 1/48 Spitfire XVIe

Another Spit for my growing line up. This time an Italeri Mk XVI which is, apparently, the old occidental kit. A straightforward build with some inaccuracies which I can live with. Finished in 349 (Belgian) Sqn RAF markings. I swapped the kits code letters (in white) for a set from Tally Ho in Sky (no doubt I'll find out that white was correct, but it just didn't look 'right' to me...)

That's a stunner - I have the exact same kite in 1/72 lined up to do in my next batch of three! I'm using the Heller kit which actually comes with decals for this plane, but they're not very good, I have an aftermarket sheet from Lifelike that I'll be using instead.

By the way the codes are sky in this set.
