    Mc-200 captured

This is a Macchi Mc-200 Saetta captued by US forces. The kit is an old Revell 1/72 scale model. I can't explain the fin flash in the photo. If anyone here can, I would really like to know. It is not Italian or US.

    Nice job!

In regards to the Fin Flash, I've seen pics of other captured Italian fighters by the British but it was Red, White, Blue which if you look at the pic it kinda looks like that. Was this by chance captured by the British first?

I have another photo of the other side and there is no red. Its either Blue or Black and I'd guess blue.

Maybe the Australians or NZs got it first.

    Best one yet MACHINE!
