Wojtek, I don't know much about the Ventura other than in RAF service, but I think I've seen a pic or two of similar markings positions on some US aircraft.
Yep I have checked it and found a few of similar marked Venturas.

Wonderfull job a good kit I use to have one of these at one time makes a great addition next to the Airfix Hudson bomber. I had the vacuform model of the Ventura from Rareplanes. I got it back in the late 1970,s From Bob Archers Hobby World the worlds first mauil order house. A HARDY WELL DONE
