    My Model Collection

Recently returned to modeling after a long break (main as my stuff was in storage). Here's what I've made thus far:

To get back in the swing of things

Revell 1:72 kit, Techmod decals kit for 1839 Squadron Fleet Air Arm

1/48 Kittyhawk III 112 squadron. Was originally an Eduard kit with lots of photo etch and resin parts. The kit turned out to have a moulding error so the wings drooped downwards! More than a bit annoying after spending a fair bit of time and money on it.

So i bought the Italeri kit and transferred what I could over such as the cockpit, wheel wells and wheels (adjusted since the picture was taken!)

Tamiya 1:35 Armament Carrier Humvee. Something I bought years ago when I first started getting back into modelling, decided it was too complex so consigned it to the bottom of the box.

Some of the paint matching is off since it's been so long that I couldn't remember what colours I used. Haven't glued the roof on either as I haven't decided if I'll add the drive and gunner (I'm rubbish at figures, they never come out right). It's also missing the front indicators as I don't have any clear orange paint.

Tamiya 1:24 MX5 - another one rescued from the bottom of the box and painted in the same way as my old one

    "Daylight sir?"
"Yes it's the last thing they'll be expecting, a daylight charge over the minefield"
