Hello Wurger, the name of the company is Accurate Miniatures. The kit was nice to build.the decals stunk I had to mail to the company and they sent me new sheet no questions asked.I'm actually contemplating building one of these in 1/5 scale R/C.

I have tought about Accurate Miniatures but I wasn't sure. The firm is one of the best. They are well-known not only of the best quality of models but also of their attitude towards customers.Good choice.

Wayne I think it was a just a bad sheet. They were brittle and cracked into little pieces especially the mission markers going down the side of fusalage.I mailed them a letter explaining the problem and sent me another sheet free of charge.Very good product support on AM's parts.

Is that 1:48 TT? You did a great job with it.
Are the slots on the gun covers and lower wings to help with gun cooling?
I've never seen these before on an A-36/ P-51 (except of course the usual cartridge ejector slots)

Thank you A4K! If your Talking about the slots on the top and bottom of the wings, those are air brakes to slow the aircraft down. The A-36 Apache was a dive bomber varient of the P-51a model. They were used in the African campaign(Operation Torch I believe!),also Tunisia, and Sicily if I'm correct!

Oh and Yes it is Accurate Models 1/48th scale.here are some pics I found on web.You can see the speed brakes deployed in the first and third pics.
