Good one, Ed! Like the scheme with the skull on the nose.

    G'day gents,
I know that this is mainly for model kits, but I thought you might appreciate my RC P40N. It is a 1.7m wingspan model from Hobby King. I customised it as an ACFT flown by FLG OFF Gordon White of RAAF 78 SQN. Gordon was a well respected pilot in the SQN. He had flown with RAAF 3 SQN in the Middle East and had a confirmed victory over a 109, then was posted to 78 SQN in 1944 in the South West Pacific (SWP) theatre. In one engagement, he downed one Zero and two dive bombers. He was killed about two weeks later when he accidently flew into the sea whilst on a coastal patrol.
These images are of his ACFT and my customisation of the model.

Neat ! I tried flying models but they were too fragile for me. Yours look really good.
