U.S.Navy Blue Angels

Here are a few shots of my Blue Angel collection. All aircraft are 1/72 and most of them date to the '70's and '80's.Of note is the F7U-1 Cutlass which is the old Aurora kit.The first shot is of thier case which appears much more congested than it is.I've posted many more shots at
community.webshots.com/user/otftch.

I would love to see more photos of Fat Albert. I assume all the decals for that are custom?

Some more pictures of "Fat Albert". The decals,I believe, were an aftermarket set from Scale Master but it was so long ago I'm not sure.

Truly wonderful Otftch. I didn't realize that the Angels used the F7U Cutlass. Wow now that is a classy airplane.

The Herc looks like the ole Airfix kit. She was a beast of plastic. Age looks like it has taken its toll on the wing dihedral. I'm building an AMT RC-135 for a friend and intend to put in some square tubing wing spars to address exactly this issue. Whether it works or not only time will tell.

Well done my friend. I'll say it again. Your wife must be a most patient woman. I only wish I could have such a display.
