Had a good crack at it today and apart from a few little touch ups it's all done, am pretty pleased with how it's turned out. There are a few minor bits I'm not 100 percent happy with but it's all part of the learning process.

Lookin real good so far.... Are u gonna hit it with a matte coat to seal on the decals and also take down the satin gloss??? How bout some grime??? She looks a bit nasty in the pic...

Yep I want to tone down the shine a tad, a bit wary of this after the disaster with the Vampire so I may do it in gradual coats will also be adding a little discrete dirt here and there. As the saying goes Ugly but well hung.

Thanks for the kind words everyone and also to Gary for the pic in the What is it ? Thread , got the colours for the tail lights from that, no ref to them in the painting guide.
I gave it a light coat of Humbrol matt cote yesterday and it is still slightly tacky 24 hours later. Drying time on the bottle is 6 hours. I hope it dries eventually as the finish is still more satin than matt so it will need another coat.
