Bit of paint slapped on the flight deck. No progress on the Sea Hurricane though.

Seems to be a real shortage of 1/72 scale flight deck crew. I thought"oh I will just get some generic sailors and modify them" nope non of them either.

Anyone got any suggestions for RN men.

Unfortunately they just look too USN.

I have found some white metal figures that would be perfect but they are very expensive and I am trying to keep costs down at the moment.

I think it will be some cheap RAF figures from Airfix or Revell that get some plastic surgery.

The FAA temperate camouflage is very effective I think. It's hard to pick out the boundaries between the extra dark slate and the dark sea grey I find the colour blends into the next colour. I imagine that was the idea to try and make the eye slide away from the aircraft.
