I spent twenty years in USAF maintenance. We don't like aircrew, they screw up our airplanes.

Started building the engines.

Continuing with the engines. They are pretty nice out of the kit.

The ( I am assuming the water pump) attached to the bottom with to hoses calls for you to attach the hoses before you assemble it to the back. Not a good layout. If you check the next page where it all attributes to the aft of the engine block you will see where the pipes/hoses attach. This is where i did the assembly. After the aft section blower pumps and all, i then put the hoses on. Also they called for rhe valve covers to be installed earlier. I think these should also wait until all the aft section is installed as there are two separate sections that have to fit under them.

The air filter is seen below part at the upper section, complete at the bottom.

Yep. I think those "hoses" are the spark plug wiring harnesses and your "water pump" is the magneto.

If you are interested in the Bf110, the Dragon/Cyber Hobby kit is the best in 1/48 or 1/32. This is not just my opinion but the opinion of the author of Valiant Publishing (Richard Franks).

I had the Revell 1/32 once that I got rid of. It's a great kit but my living space is limited and it was just too big. I stick to 1/72 or smaller now to both enjoy the hobby and enjoy the build. That said, kudos to you good sir. I'm impressed in your skills sand making sure you get exactly what is accurate as well as built as it SHOULD versus as the builders choice. It's quite difficult, I know, but stick to your guns. I await the completed project. I'm sure you'll do great.

While I bought both the Eduard and Quinta sets, I noticed that there is supplied a very nice set of decals for the interior. I've decided to try them instead. I'll use the 3d printed seat belts but I'm liking these decals.
