Thanks guys. I am not particularly keen on the photos I took with my phone. I think I need to get myself a decent camera. Has anyone done a sticky on taking photos for GBs

Beautiful job! Just last night I was having a nostalgic pass through my old Aircraft in Profile series; the SM 79 caught my eye (yet again) and I was reminded what a beautiful model it would make. Your results are an inspiration. (I wonder if I still have a tube of glue that didn't dry out 20 years ago?)

Cheers,

Dana

The Italeri kit is very nice and I would recommend having a go. It doesn't have much if any flash on the sprues. I hardly had to do much to some parts beside clean up where I had cut it from the sprue. Everything fitted apart from the usual wing to fuselage joints and not a lot of filler was needed. The transparencies were not very clear but a dip in Humbrol Clear sorted them out nicely.

First of all, great model. Second, I think your pics are absolutely fine and certainly better than some that we judges need to deal with!

Oops, did I say that out loud?

Thanks I still want to do better photos as I don't think they do it justice. It's a lot better in real life maybe even award winning 😅😜😉
