FOREST FIRES

Same problem here in Southern Alberta. Another drought year predicted as our main water source, snowpack in the Rockies, is well below average.
 
My heart goes out to you guys with my fingers crossed as our fire season, luckily is delayed due to heavy rains over the last few months, but that also means lots of growth. :D

Ours is just getting under way here. We had one go through a vineyard yesterday. Luckily we don't tend to get them as big as you guys do.
 
Middle of May and it's already happening up here. A northern B C town eveacuated already with the fire right on the edge of town. Fort McMurray in trouble again. There are a lot of places up here with only one road out of town. Things are still quiet and clear down here in Southeast B C, but it is already REALLY dry out there and we're awful nervous.
