Oh, within the last decade. They had a polished AL P-40 they restored at Chino, CA. I'd have never thought we would ever see a picture like this one.
By the way, note I said CHINO. I did not type "China" but that is what showed up!

Yeah! I guess that is the configuration when they shipped the completed aircraft from the factory out to the airfield.
