Best non-US remote gun turret of WW2?

I don't have my books available (still), but the Me323 had two remote "barbette" style turrets situated atop the mainwing, located between the outer and middle engines. The BV222's remote turrets were located similar to the Me323's, being located directly behind each outboard engine.

"All of Vlad's forces and all of Vlad's men, are out to put Humpty together again."

Just watched a vid over at funker530 taken near the Kherson area. Ukrainian forces mined the shores of the Dnipro and a Russian riverine boat hit it, flinging bodies and debris everywhere. The survivors swam ashore and UAF FPV drones annhilated them. What a nightmare...

Best non-US remote gun turret of WW2?

Their remote turret mechanisms were too complex and prone to failing. The turrets in the Ar240 and Me410 worked well enough, but accuracy was an ongoing issue that was never fully resolved. The armament in the remote turrets typically were 20mm or 13mm, so they could certainly pack a punch.

The layers of air defense would make it difficult to hit by Air - however, Ukraine has been eliminating then one by one and on several occasions, destroyed their replacements, too.

The airplane that did the most to turn the tide of the war.

The last Purple Hearts intended for the invasion of Japan were presented to early Gulf War recipients and when I was aboard NWS Seal Beach, there were still storage bunkers full of coffins produced in early 1945. The calculations of Allied losses indicated a staggering amount of casualties in...

"All of Vlad's forces and all of Vlad's men, are out to put Humpty together again."

The Polish Army in 1939 was one of Europe"s largest militaries and a force to be reconed with. The problem is, that they were told not to mobilize for fear of provoking Germany (sound familiar?) and it wasn't until the German Army rolled across their border, that they tried to mobilize but it...

And to add to the twist of France suggesting that they *may* provide troops to reinforce Ukrainian troops, Poland and Finland have stated they support France's suggestion and would join in. Sh!t's about to get real...
