G'Day, I'm from the land of OZ, Father was 455 and 463 Squadrons and was on the 1942 Hampden deployment to Russia, where each aircraft had to carry a fitter so that they had a reasonable chance of sortieing out against the Tirpitz. My reason for joining is to contribute an account of an Aussie on patrol north of Ireland being overtaken by Wellington that had both props feathered!
