hi there! lookin' for potential images / information about Aleksandr Pokryshkin's Yak-1 during 1941, specifically the paint scheme/camouflage and whether it had some particular symbols to it.
much appreciated !
I adore you. thank you so much for that!!! you've been providing me with mindblowingly good info :D I'll have trouble translating some of it because my japanese friends find reading the thing very hard.. though I'll manage somehow, I'll do it bit by bit.
I think I have literally all I need...
if you ever come across the same for the Kasei-23, do let me know! that would pretty much be the cherry on top! I'll probably also be searching about the cabin pressurization method, but that's pretty much one of the last things I need along the 23
oh my god thank you so much. these are absolutely great. now I just need Engine details, materials used and some tech data here and there like how the landing gear system worked.
these will definitely create a great basis

sheesh, I see.. I do have friends in Japan here and there, I'm sure they'd be up to help me out with it. at that point I'd need to get names of the books and materials if anything, so I'm able to source them. if you have any leads, or ever get the chance to check the books out, do let me know...
Thanks! we redid her whole. I still feel sorry that we had to paint over the camo it had, but the spirit of a military aircraft still lives in there. in a week or two I'll be able to enjoy her a bit :D
from what I heard she was some high ranking officer's transport, she saw little to no flight...
