Yes Dirk, some paints need to be thined, others no, I use Gunze Acrilic paint, and I don´t need to thin it to use on the compass tip... I recomend to make some tests before use.

Looking forward to the next micro surgery Lucas. those PE parts must be mega tiny! No way I could handle those!!
 
I starting to have panic attacks thinking about PE in 1/72! In 1/144, at that stage, I'm ready for the padded room and the nice people dressed in white!

I did a little work on the model, today I´m do not too much inspired, so I don´t finish the cockpit, need to go on the seat belts..
