This is a short summary. Work is on going. I have been entering the "Take off and Landings" of the DH-82's in dad's logbook(s). Beginning 29-July-1941 through 27-April -1943, I have done data query on unique entries and I have 19 unique aircraft serial numbers for "Tiger Moths" in Canada (type not recorded but believed to be DH-82C). and 102 unique entries in the UK of DH-82A. A total of 121 unique aircraft serial numbers of the Tiger Moth type. I still have to do entries through 14-January-1944. This will include aircraft at No.10 FIS Woodley with a whole other group of unique aircraft.

I'm surprised! I would have thought perhaps 100 but I'm at 121.

Oh, and that's 1178 take-off and landings.

I have completed putting dad's Tiger Moth Log book entries in a spreadsheet. I have not yet put in the flight times or duty assignments. I have 19 unique serial numbers for DH-82C aircraft and 148 unique serial numbers for DH-82A aircraft for a total of 167 aircraft. That's a lot of aircraft! That works out to 1.88% of all the 8868 Tiger Moths made.

Dad had 1351.5 hours after completing his time with No.10 FIS, some of those hours on other types. Once I get the flying times in, I can determine the total hours on Moths.
