OK, the new airbrush has to have a test subject...... Here it is....

The Academy 1/48th Bf 109G-14 that Wayne was nice enough to send me awhile ago....

Ive run into some difficulty in figuring out which crate I want/can do with the decals I have... Chris was nice enough to supply me with 3 sheets, Aeromaster Decals Augsburg Eagles series...

48-366 Part 1?
48-352 Part III
48-384 Part VI

I did a decent search of these 3 sets and found squat as far as what they go to, or even if any of them are for a G-14.... I have the set that came with the kit, which includes 1 doable crate, Blue2 of 16./JG53, flown by Gefreiter Alfred Michael Jan 1945, Halstoff France....

I just dont like it that much, would like to do something different....

I included pics of the decals I have.... NJ Chris, any idea where these decals u sent to me belong???

I'll have a look as well, to see what I can find buddy. In the meantime, here's two G-14 profiles for you....8)

Can't take credit for the G-14, Dan......sent you a K-4..Man!:D

Most if not all of those decal markings are for other variants of F's and G's....you want to do something special Huh?....will have a squiz through my bits'n'pieces mate and see what I can come up with.....!:D

Dan, I noticed the kit has two different fins and rudders, does it also have the 'standard canopy' as well as the 'Erla' canopy shown in the box art?
If so, you'll have a lot of leeway, and be able to do a late model G6 or a G14. I'll have a look at what I've got in the way of schemes and spare decals.
Just for my own interest, as I'm considering this kit, does it include the R6 cannon gondolas?

OK, I'll see what I've got in colour schemes for G6 and G14 with the Erla hood, and the 'standard' tail. I think that's what you've used, wasn't quite clear in the pics.
I think I'll have something 'do-able', and maybe at least some of the decals.
Thanks for the info BTW, looks like I'm going to have to find the Hasegawa kit. Darn! Wanted to do the Academy one!
