She's a big old bird and she's coming together fairly nicely. A little bit of filler work needed but nothing major.

Cockpit done and now joined up to complete the fuselage.

Thanks guys. Actually enjoying this build. Even though there's not much to it.
But for the first time I've ventured into filling and sanding so quite happy to further my skills.

Nice ond man! (hope you added nose weight under the floorboards?)

Thanks Evan. ha ha, well I tried and I think only managed to get about 15g under there. Kit calls for 20g. Let's see how it goes once the wheels are on.

Nearing the end of assembly now after a nice day in the garden building.

The undercarriage positioning was a little misleading in the instructions so reverted to google to confirm position.

Plus I'm going to have to sneak a little more weight upfront. good job I'd left those doors open.

The more complete this gets the more i feel sorry for the poor old Halifax or whatever it was toeing it.
You'd have known you had this thing attached behind you on take off.

Thanks Wayne.

I'm just glad it doesn't have panel lines with the amount of sanding I've had to do get the cockpit streamline with the rest of the fuselage.

But, sanding and polishing up a model itself is another "first time" for me. So happy for the challenge.

Looks great, tuck some weight in round the corner of that front door and your good to go

I stuck a 10g fishing weight in there this morning but it still won't balance.
Luckily the kit comes with a transparent stand to keep the tail up.
