started buying for this a lonnnng time ago, forgot what I had!!

This is another (A.H.) Davidson Spitty, 601 Sqn, PT935 UF@A. Flown Jan 30, 1945.
It was crashed by another pilot Feb 21, 1945. There were many UF@A Spitts.
I really wanted to do a silver Spit, but unfortunately there was only One stripped of camo.
So I will have another Grey and Green camo Spitfire!!!! Dang....

So here we go, another I have to catch up on. First the kit, we all know what they look like, a mess of parts on trees. Another with what I had hoped to do, top, and below what I'll be doing, Grey and Green! Then where I am now! I started a couple of days ago and was too lazy to post, sorry.
I will be attacking the cockpit next!

By the way, this is A.H.D.

Some of the last two days work onner.
Using the PE seat, added some slats for the leather backrest,
and a slip of styrene to the rear for mounting to armor plate.
I often stick PE to styrene for added 3D, and makes mounting easier.
IP is next for a 3D decal, and a couple of styrene dots for knobs!
Paint? It's bloody rainy and cold!!!!!!!! Maybe lndg gear and wing work!

Nice one. That PE seat is a vast improvement over the kit one.
PE is in addition to the kit. But does a nice job. The kit goes together nice and quick.
Here's what I have been up to. The bent Granny Clamps are a help with uneven areas.
Sticking the pit on one side so I can thread the shoulder harness thru to the back.
Have to set the peddles in and the gun sight. Engine is getting the colors added.

Thanks guys!!!!! We are the best on this site.
So I always get fidgity about the seatbelts of Spitties.
They are never long enough to reach back behind the seat.
I have taken a piece of lead wire (solder) and squashed it thin.
painted it with lacquer and attached this to frame behind the seat
with CA and Bob's yer bloody uncle. I will attach the SB to the end.
