Hi all, I am just getting back into scale modelling now life is slowing down for me and I have more time on my hands. I was born in UK and emigrated to Canada 15 years ago. I have many fond memories of building plastic scale models, balsa rubber band powered aircraft as well as remote control builds. I see a lot of things have changed over the years in terms of specialist tools and the price of the models and equipment involved. With that said the interest and satisfaction levels seem to be the same. Anyway, hello all and I hope to start posting on a regular basis soon.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
Seems like I picked a good forum, it's pretty active and I'm still getting my head around the tons of information posted here.
Onwards and upwards, my first project getting back into scale modelling is an Italeria 1/72 Tornado GR1 so I shall be reading up on all the tips and tricks for the next few days

I have their 1/48th scale kit in the stash, to build in RAF Green/Grey camouflage from the late 1980's.
I have a number of detail references if you need them.
