maybe this helps someone? I purchased an Iwata eclipse HP-BCS a few years ago and it never worked properly. my other two airbrushes, a Tamiya HG III and another Iwata never had a problem. last week I removed the packing screw for the first time, the screw was cross threaded from the factory
I replaced the packing screw and ruined that one too. Apparently the AB body threads are also stripped. how frustrating, next time i am going to thoroughly inspect a new air brush before its past warranty coverage. the darn thing leaked air back into the cup and the needle could not be adjusted for drag. Lesson learned
