Thanks Aaron, it's quite a work out with the Canon 100-400 lens. By the end of the show my wrist is pretty sore, getting to old I guess.

A photographer next to me was testing out the new Tamron 150-600mm, sells for $1069.00 compared to Canons $13,000.00 for their 600mm. He found the Tamron had problems focusing at the 600mm range, he did take a lot of nice shots.

Kind of curious about the dragster and low pass combo-shot (4th one down)

Thanks Dave, The T-6 Texan War Dog, is flown by John Collier, at a lot of the air shows around here he races the jet powered dragster Smoke-n-Thunder down the air strip. War Dog usually wins.

On this day at the end of the race the dragster had an engine problem and they were trying to fix it when the T-6 came in for his landing, they weren't as close as they appear. Here are a couple of more shots from the show.

A cool little bit of trivia...the WD on the tail of that SNJ-6 is to honor Walt Disney for creating their "mascot" (war dog), the bulldog used in that unit's noseart.
