Always looked like it was doing Mach III even setting still.

Always wondered about the ventral weapons bay and how it kept losing its load on cat shots. Whole string of weapons and fuel tanks coming out the back of an aircraft being catapulted off an aircraft carrier tends to make people a little shaky. I've always heard that the weapons release maneuver was less that accurate as well, not that "not a shack " is a miss with these weapons is an issue!
