And, yes, I know it's a modified B-57 rather than a "proper" Cranberry...but the point is still valid about it going strong after so many years.
 
At the Falklands HMS Cardiff shot down an Argentine Canberra. I imagine it's a rare thing for the Royal Navy to shoot down UK manufactured aircraft. Had the RN's SSNs sank Argentina's carrier and two Type 42 destroyers it would have been a similar example, this time of British subs sinking UK manufactured ships.
