Occidental made the mold 40 thousandths too short. When I build my MK II, I will use the MK IV canopy parts to finish my Goldilocks Harvard as I totally wiped out the ones I had.

Regarding the tape idea, I have a feeling that results could depend on whether the tape is glossy or that matte invisible type. I used the later and the enamel would not stick at all. Counter-intuitive really as I would have thought that the paint would stick better to something that has a matte finish.
