It was an absolute beast off the showroom floor and it was literally nicknamed "hemi killer".

It was also one of the few cars that sales staff were forbidden to allow a prospective customer to test drive.

Btw, wasn't the 1970 Buick GS Stage 1, the fastest factory muscle car tested on the 1/4 mile, with the Hemi Cuda on second place, or do I remember wrong. Can't remember the magazine doing the test back in the day....

If ever a muscle car looked heavy....beautiful nonetheless!
