Here's my entry for the GB. A relatively recent Airfix kit with what looks like nice detail straight from the box. I'm doing the box art version which is a USAAF Spit with a shark mouth. Bit of a change for me with this one as the main painting will be done with my recently acquired airbrush, which I've been practicing with prior to this.

Thanks all for your comments and for showing interest 🙂. I have made a start on the kit by painting up the small internal parts and assembling some sub sections. Work starts in the pit as usual in a similar sequence to the Eduard equivalent. Details of the parts though are not as crisp as Eduard.

Here's a few pics to be going on with. Cheers Greg.

Thanks all 🙂

A bit more progress. Cockpit tub has been completed and the wings assembled. The tub is well detailed from the box but little will be seen once the fuselage is complete, which is a pity.

I'm quite enjoying this one so far and it's a nice little kit.

Fuselage joined and mated with the wings. Ok fit but there will need to be some filling in places, and the seams need tidying up. Trop air filter attached along with oil cooler and radiator on the underside.

Coming along nicely 😃
