My "Stuka"

:salute: All points well taken, Wurger. I too recall the horrors of working with metalized paints (silver. aluminum, metal, etc) where even hours late a finger print could occur. So I acquiesce. You are so right sir.

Man I wish I had time for all the models in my attic...

I just don't want to wish away my boys time at home. Different times. Different focus.

Thanks, Wurger.

Oh and btw the eyes are good. ;)

Glad of sharing the opinion with you.:D
And glad your eyes are fine.;)

Hi Guys... It's Saturday and I just finished painting the Stuka. Here's some
pic's as it was taped and then painted. The last pic shows my "paint booth".
After it dries for about four hours I will un-tape and put up pic's.

Just finished removing all the tape and paper, and I took some pic's for you
to comment on. There is just a little bit of touch up to do, mostly on the
leading edge of the wings.

If it's dry enough tomorrow, I will install the dive brakes and dive flaps.

I have question for the camo experts out there. The lower portion of the
radiator looks out of place painted light blue. Should I darken that up a
bit ??

Comments are always welcome..

Thanks, Chris. Guess that answers that question !

Hmmmm. Look at the camo pattern on the nose of that stuka, and look
at mine. Simular, no ?

I agree with Wayne, there are some different ways of the place painting.
But it is well done Charles.:D :D I like it.:D :D
Maybe you should think about the front painting of the radiator....

It doesn't matter, I think.Simply it has to be a very dark paint.Unless there is an imitation of the cooler structure. In the case it would be nice to paint it with a mixture of silver and black ( or very dark grey) paints.Another way of painting can be spraying the area with silver one ( or black one ) and then using the dry brush method , paint with very diluted black paint ( or silver one).
